BBBrrrrrrrr! Huge congratulations to Andy, Derek and Chris for completing their open water dives at Wraysbury with Richard and also Daniel, Andy and Marc for becoming dry suit divers with Gary.
On all accounts that is an awesome achievement given the recent weather conditions - these guys really are stars.
Thank you also to Chris, Hannah and Bernie for braving the weather and assisting!
Meanwhile the club had their first weekend away of the year, and headed to Stoney Cove to explore the Stanegarth, hydrobox and other random attractions!

8th Jan - James completed his scuba review with Angelica
12th Jan - Linda took Lois and Daniel through their EFR.
15th Jan - Nicola completed her DSD with Mel and Paul Toomer took Vic, Andy, Andy, Andrew, Michael, Steve, Ben, Chris, and Bruce for an Intro to tech diving
16th / 17th Jan - Richard completed open water referrals with Martin, Andy, Brian, Mark, Chris and Derek. Thank you also to Hannah and Chris for assisting.
22nd Jan - Daniel, Marc, Martin, Andy, Brian, Chris and Derek all completed dry suit orientations with Taff and Richard, in preparation for their open water expedition to Wraysbury this weekend. Mel and Linda took Sarah, Nick and Mark for Scuba Reiews, Nick took Bevan, Terry and Natasha for Discover Scuba Diving and Simon and Andy bubbled!

Ice Diving Jan 10th 2010
It's official.... Aquanaut Divers are officially nuts! A group including keith, Adam, Bene, Jon, Jem and Sean headed off to Wraysbury today for some serious ice diving!
Those who had iced dived before set off for their explorations. the others underwent tuitionto qualify as Ice Divers.
The pictures speak for themselves - awesome. ..... however I fully appreciate ice diving is not for everyone ..... and I would highly recommend a dry suit!
